About Me

As a workplace coach and mentor, I work with individuals and groups to raise their self-awareness of work-based issues, to find achievable solutions and thereby increase their skill and confidence.

I focus on professional development including managing self and interpersonal skills in areas such as:

With over 35 years in education, I am a keen advocate of professional development. I love helping others to grow and succeed.

I spent many years delivering supervisory management programmes which included action learning. This approach, combined with one-to-one mentoring, supported my candidates in setting and achieving their personal development/learning objectives.

As a grateful beneficiary of coaching myself, I am passionate about the value that coaching and mentoring can offer. I am rewarded by helping people identify what’s holding them back at work and finding the courage and motivation to initiate solutions.

Today, I work exclusively as a coach and mentor as well as an action learning facilitator. I offer some of my work on a voluntary basis since it gives me the opportunity to “pay back”.

Qualifications and Experience

I have designed, delivered and quality assured a range of programmes in Leadership & Management.

I have been a freelance training consultant for 16 years, during which time I have offered accredited programmes of study through my ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) Centre.

I have also assessed managers for the status of Chartered Manager through CMI (Chartered Management Institute).
